About Me
My name is Ramdayal Nirmalkumar Rewaria, and I am a passionate data scientist and analyst. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics at Georgetown University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in Washington DC. I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Data Science at the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
Throughout my academic and professional career, I have developed a wide range of technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Additionally, I have experience working with various software packages and tools, such as Pandas, MySQL, Quarto, Numpy, D3.js, Flex-dashboard, Plotly, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Dplyr, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Ggplot2, and more. I have also worked with a range of concepts in Data Science, including Data Extraction, Data Munging, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and NLP.
In my professional career, I have worked with various organizations, including the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact at Georgetown University in Washington DC, ICICI Bank in Mumbai, and Konsultera Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. At Georgetown University, I worked as a Qualitative Research Analyst, where I surveyed and analyzed transcripts of 150 interviews from locals in Kenya and Eswatini for the Local Innovation Scaled Through Enterprise Networks (LISTEN) process. This work helped me gain insights for up-scaling treatments for HIV and AIDS.
During my time at ICICI Bank, I worked as a Deputy Manager (Data Science and Analytics), where I automated and optimized the Society Ecosystem of Bank penetration using Python for faster computing times by 200%. I also improved the model to 82% accuracy while optimizing a Customer Lifetime Value model in Python to analyze different segments of customers and their importance levels to the bank. Additionally, I facilitated in data pre-processing and cleaning of private banking projects in Python as opposed to SQL, which accelerated the process time by 50%.
At Konsultera Solutions Pvt. Ltd., I worked as a Machine Learning Intern, where I built a custom Object detection model using Tensorflow for Social Distancing on Python and attained an accuracy of 81%. I also coordinated in optimizing the Law firm database of 2500 cases using Natural Language Processing techniques and Spacy. I strengthened the development of live projects in the machine learning category for different major companies as required.
In terms of my project experience, I have worked on various exciting and innovative projects, including Thrombosis Diagnosis Analysis, Formula One Analysis of Historical Data, Football Penalty Direction Predictor using Pose Estimation and Deep Learning, Facial Attribute Detection, and Emotion Detection from Speech. These projects showcase my ability to apply various techniques in data munging, exploratory data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. For example, in the Formula One Analysis of Historical Data project, I used multiple machine learning algorithms such as Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine to predict the position of a driver based on their history and achieved accuracies ranging from 81% - 98%. Additionally, I extracted the data using various Formula One APIs and performed pre-processing techniques on the data.
Overall, I am a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical individual with a passion for data science and analytics. I enjoy working on challenging projects and finding innovative solutions to complex problems. My diverse range of technical skills and experience, combined with my strong work ethic and dedication to excellence, make me an ideal candidate for any data science or analytics role.
